MEDICAL CRISIS
According to the World health organization 400 million people world-wide do not have access to medical care. In some parts of Africa, there are 14 doctors for every million people.
In most rural areas of the world, including South American countries, such as Peru, seeing a doctor to get timely health care in case of an emergency is out of reach, especially for those living remotely in places along the Amazon River. Even when living in a city, the patient to doctor ratio can be as high as 50,000 people to just one doctor, making it impossible for that one doctor to meet the demands of health care in that area. These are valuable people made in the image of God who are physically suffering, many of them without a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
So what’s the answer to this? In Matthew 25, Jesus speaks with his disciples and says, I was sick and you looked after me and in return His disciples asked Him, when did we see you sick? Jesus replied whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine you did it unto me.

Showing the love of Christ in action, allows us to reach the real issue…the need of knowing Christ IN A PERSONAL WAY.

Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
